Well even though I was able to work with the file this afternoon user jobs were bombing when they went to access that member in the multi member physical file. I deleted the member and copied another empty member in the file over into the name of the member of the damaged/deleted member and it appears to be OK at this time. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Fred Horvat Sent: Tuesday, September 05, 2006 12:18 PM To: 'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion' Subject: CPF8111 Damaged LF Member After an abnormal system shutdown and the following IPL we received a CPF8111. "Partial damage on member RCWCD file RCW@@. Cause . . . . . : The data portion of member RCWCD in file RCW@@ in library APLUS60FAL is damaged and may not be usable. The owner of the member is QPGMR. The VLOG dump identifier is 010059EC." I called the file/member up in DFU and I was able to access all 5 records just fine. Should I be concerned about this that I am able to access the file without issue?
