Steve,

Are the Koreans concerned that you are outsourcing their jobs?

Subject: Double-byte Korean data

I haven't worked in a double-byte environment before -

Can someone give me some pointers or techniques for downloading and using double-byte data from an iSeries in a Word mail-merge? We have a JDE installation in Korea that has files with CCSID 65535 that contained mixed single-byte and double-byte data.

I would prefer to create an extract of the F0101 (address book) file by using CPYTOIMPF to create an IFS file that the user can then use from his PC, but it doesn't appear that the data is being translated properly during the tests we performed.
