Actually, I was misinformed and Charles was kind enough to point out the invalidity of my position <grin>. As to BPCS, I'm not sure how the Covey School of Database Design got into this discussion. I still have nightmares about the "pseudo-matching record" code inside of MRP500 (much of which I maintained over the years). But I don't think the L01 logical was entirely his fault. Remember, that was back in the day when you were told not to have keyed physicals. Joe
