You can certainly use a font. Here's an example of DDS that prints on an
overlay:

    A          R DETAIL
    A
ENDPAGE
    A            BCCNDT        10          TEXT('DATE_OF_CONTRACT')
    A                                               POSITION(0.85
1.375)

    A                                               FNTCHRSET(C0H20090
T1V00500)
    A            BCSNAM        30         TEXT('SELLER_NAME')
    A                                               POSITION(1.40.50)
    A                                               FNTCHRSET(C0H40090
T1V00500)

The font used for the BCSNAM field is about twice the size of the font for
the BCCNDT field.
