The location of my NT shared folder is 192.168.10.2/shared. When I do a wrklnk /QNTC/192.168.10.2/shared, it says "object not found". Do I need to someone "map" or configure the iseries to recognize that location on the network.

I don't recommend accessing Windows network shares by IP address. In fact, I don't recommend ever accessing any TCP/IP service -- aside from DNS, of course -- by IP address.

Having said that, you should be able to do it if you do this first:

    MKDIR '/QNTC/192.168.10.2'

This'll create a link in the IFS to that IP address so you can access it. You'll need to re-run the MKDIR command after each IPL.
