Not that you probably want a solution, having a more comfortable temperature is probably desired, but I wonder if a fan in the vicinity of the UPS would help spread the temperature out? Also, we used to have a different UPS. That one had something that looked like your basic home furnace filter on it. Back when we had printers in our machine room we had to change that filter every 6 months or it died. Changing the filter and vacuuming out around those monster capacitors was a job always delegated to someone with no immediate family. Rob Berendt
