Try this:
 STRSST --> 1. Start a service tool  --> 1. Product activity log --> 4.
Work with removable media lifetime statistics
Find the Volume ID and you will see how many bytes have been written to the
tape...

Anyone know of a way to determine how much unused space is avaliable on a
50gb tape on a V5R3 system?
