I've always thought the AS/400/ iSeries/ System i was the FRAM Oil 
filter in that commercial while Windows et al was the blown engine. You 
may pay a little more now for a System i but over time it looks like a 
small investment compared to the never ending investment of the Windows 
environment.
Interesting too that the recent user licensing discussion has completely 
ignored the fact that over time System i was cheaper BEFORE this pricing 
action. Suddenly we are comparing System i to Windows as if the long 
term Cost of Ownership advantage of System i suddenly no longer exists. 
But it DOES!  So maybe let's not focus quite so much on this pricing 
action as the the only way to compare System i to Windows???
