Hi Rob,
A SQL Index can be used with native I/O like any keyed DDS described logical
file.
Contrary to SQL where an index never can be specified directly, an index can
be used in the F-Specs in RPG.
It it not neccessary to create a DDS described logical file with the same
key fields as the index.

Depends on how the RPG programs "use" it. First, can RLA even directly
access an index? Is RLA limited to tables and views? Only RLA will ever
give you a level check.
