I don't really understand what you mean by "convert a physical file to a
PDF"? Physical files have no formatting associated with them, they're
intended to store data that can be displayed by programs, report
generators, etc. The display component is in the programs, etc.
By contrast, PDFs are all about how things are displayed.
So I guess I don't understand what you mean by "convert to PDF"? Do you
mean "create a report from a PF, then convert THAT to PDF?" If so,
wouldn't you really be looking for two things? First a program that
makes a report from a PF, then a separate one that converts the report
to PDF?
