I don't know about the newer systems but the older units were set up in 
such a way that water coming down onto them didn't do much damage. We 
had one customer with a water heater that burst in the room above their 
620. Water poured down on it all weekend until we powered it off 
(REMOTELY!)  No damage. In another case the client had their lunchroom 
above and the syrup cable to the soda fountain leaked the syrup all over 
the machine. IBM took the cover off and power washed them. When the 
machine was donated to Frankeni.com last year I discovered a small stain 
below the main planar. When I got it wet with a towel it smelled like Coke!

With todays rack mounted systems I'm fairly certain water would do more 
damage though I'm pretty sure fire isn't a good option either!
