What happens if you download this?

CREATE TABLE ROB.JHHL (MYDATA CHAR (35 ) CCSID 37 )

Table JHHL created in ROB.

insert into rob.jhhl (mydata) values('Yo Dude!')

1 rows inserted in JHHL in ROB.

If it works fine then you need to either
1 - fix the ccsid on your data fields
2 - change the jdbc or odbc properties to translate 65535 data. Many
drivers have this prompt.
