Just in this morning...

IBM Global Financing:

PTX Users,

The IBM Web Identity servers are currently experiencing a problem.

Not to be too hard on IBM, but notice the anthropomorphizing of the problem?
It's not a programming error or an administration error. No the "servers"
are currently "experiencing a problem". Like what? They ate some bad fish?
Or maybe a big night out on the town?

The world of plug and play software leads you to the inevitable end where,
when something doesn't work, nobody knows why.

And then... SkyNet takes over <grin>.
