I like the online order systems that warn, "It may take several minutes
for your order to complete. Do not click the button more than once or
your order may be entered multiple times."

Old programming priorities like reliability and response time have been
replaced by a GUI with Flash graphics.

I had the same issue this morning.

Online systems in general are failing more and more. Dell's online site
is
insane. It makes you walk through the entire process, including
entering
your credit card information, only to fail with a message that says you
must
talk to a service representative. None of the information is saved, and
you
have to essentially re-enter your order over the phone.

It took us over an hour and a half to order a new laptop for my daughter
last night.
