We have a UPS to run our machine room. Our entire building, (UPS, lights,
A/C, well, everything), is all backed up by a large natural gas generator
outside. Generator automatically kicks on every Monday morning as a test.
Normally no problems with that (but do you believe there is a little
9volt battery inside of it that you have to replace on a regular basis?).
Have had a few problems with the relay between that and the building
power.
