DMPOBJ is about the only way to see it unreformatted. And if you royally
hose up QAQQINI you can't even do a DSPPFM because of the reformatting
checked for - regardless of whether or not you are using any of these
fields that DSPPFM reformats.

I think the reformatting is what caused some people to not use true date
fields. To them, via DSPPFM, they can't see how they save space, (or at
least don't use any more than packed data).
