My bad, I did GO LICPGM , option 10 and was sut thinking since it said
Display Licensed programs at the top that was the command (DUH!!!)

So I've still gotta install JV1 options 7 and 8

Thanks Rob

I never use DSPLICPGM, probably because there is no such command. I also
extremely rarely use GO LICPGM , option 10. Instead I always use
DSPSFWRSC
I guess that comes from the days when many programs (external vendors,
etc) would show up in DSPSFWRSC but not in GO LICPGM option 10.

Re: DB2 Web Query

We got 6 on our 270 (which is sufficient for now, most of our usage of it
will be to push out Active Reports, OLAP for a few high end people and
convert existing queries)

And one ? reviewing System i Requirements, I see all the requirements
(well
5722JV1 options 7 and 8 I need to install) except for the one listed in
the
PDF as:

5722JV1 - Java Runtime Environment JRE™ 1.4 or higher ------> How do I
tell/find which if any JRE is installed, I don;t see it anywhere in
DSPLICPGM?

I agree with Rob. Right now the pricing model for this product is out
of
whack. On our 520 we'll only get 2 user licenses, so we will get the
product and look it over, but I'm not going to roll it out to my users
unless there is a change in the user licensing.

The 10 person limitation without the SPENDMONEY command won't even
cover

our systems department. And that's on a 570 with TB's of disk space,
multiple lpars, etc. QU1 didn't have a per user pricing.

Waiting to hear how this goes.
To several customers, this is the best news from Rochester in a while.
Any word on pgmr and end user training?

CD's showed up late yesterday afternoon, haven't had a chance
to even look at yet, downloading Redbook (slowly) now for
Install instructions (no documentation with the order just
the 2 CD's for 5733QU2) Hoping the OLAP, Active Reports and
Developer Workbench on them too.

Anybody tried an install yet?
