I think you're still trying to go about this wrong. You're trying to play
the model game to determine lpar number. You really need to look at the
detail provided by the other poster that uses the APIs. Not only does the
old 500 AS/400 vs newer i5 5XX boxes add to the confusion but what's to
stop IBM from announcing something similar in the future? Or doing
something really weird like coming out with an I25 for a custom 525 model
tailored for Infor (BPCS) like the custom models for SAP, etc?
