DSPOBJD should not be contemplated for any statistics for the complex object type of database *FILE. Specifically...

For database files, defer/refer to the Member information for any specifics. To avoid confusion, avoid making decisions about a database *FILE only from the details in DSPOBJD. The *FILE object is merely the primary container/directory for the member(s) which track the activity. Besides, the 'last use' data is only updated once per day; although the use count can horribly confuse -- and why to ignore it, except at the member level. The *FILE change date is updated effectively only the first time since the last full-save; the request to get the statistics of the dataspace when inquiring about the member is where one needs to look.
