No problem if you need a place to "house" it. I could easily make it
part of the opensource4systemi.com site. If course Sourceforge would be
a likely place to put an open source project that was a community
effort. But perhaps it would be an advantage to have my company sponsor
the the site and infrastructure our our servers/System i's (having a 270
and a 520 ).

Sadly, I'm afraid I can't do that. There is a small mater of conflict
of interest.
That's not to stop someone else from sponsoring it though.
