There is an 'SSL' tab on the 'Properties' panel of your server in iSeries
Navigator where you must download the cert into iNav . . .

Good directions here >

Greetings -

I am trying to 'turn on' SSL for Telnet sessions to my system (V5R4M0). I
have succeeded in creating a CA and a certificate and getting the
certificate assigned to my Telnet server so that, in DCM when I "View
Application Definition", it displays my certificate as the "Certificate
Assigned" for "i5/OS TCP/IP Telnet Server".

However, when I attempt to connect using iSeries Access V5R4M0 SI20465, I
get the message
"Failed connecting to secure remote server/host 10.9.20.254 using port
992, error code 414"
which indicates "Incorrectly formatted certificate received from
partner.".

Ideas?

Thanks,

Steve
