This is interesting. The system will not allow me to delete the message q QSYSOPR in QGPL. Issues a CPD2498 Diagnostic error
Message ID . . . . . . : CPD2498 Severity . . . . . . . : 30
Message type . . . . . : Diagnostic
Date sent . . . . . . : 02/14/08 Time sent . . . . . . : 10:03:00

Message . . . . : Deleting message queue QSYSOPR with DLTMSGQ command not
allowed.
Recovery . . . : If the message queue was damaged, then IPL the system
again. This causes the message queue to be deleted and created again. If the
message queue error recurs after an IPL, install the operating system again.

WRKOBJ QSYSOPR on my machine shows QSYSOPR to be in QSYS, not QGPL.
Then, yes, modify your statement to '/QSYS.LIB/QSYSOPR.MSGQ' and you
should be in.

Subject
path to a message queue on a SAV command

If I wanted to use a SAV command with save-while-active (SAVACT(*YES)) and
have the checkpoint messages go to QSYSOPR like on a SAVLIB command is the
correct path to the QSYSOPR message queue look like this?
'/QSYS.LIB/QGPL.LIB/QSYSOPR.MSGQ' I can't find any examples of how to
specify a message queue in path format.
