Is it perfect? No. Is it free? No. But is it the right direction?
I think so.

Last year's focus was on PHP. This year's focus is on RDi. It's good to see IBM continuing to reach out to developers. And RDi covers a broad swath, offering a tool for in-house developers, consultancies, application vendors, and application service providers. The RDi SOA package offers features comparable to Microsoft Visual Studio. Hopefully it will help stave off the exodus to Wintel technologies.
