I, personally, am not blaming any vendor for saying they are not ready to support the changes IBM imposed on them. I just want to know so I can plan my future. If the vendor has no plans to support V6R1 or say they plan on being ready in August 2008 or January 2009, then tell me so I can make the decisions I need to make. That might be to wait or find another vendor if there is some business need of my own that makes going to V6R1 critical.

I also like Trevor's idea of making the list positive. These vendors are confirmed to be ready, these have a target date of ?????, these are unknown

It took us about an afternoon to get all of our custom stuff done.
What
is so freaking hard about this!!?

It's been one of those days, so forgive me, but...

How come, when MS changes something that makes old code break everyone
yells at MS and points out how we never have this problem on System i,
but when IBM changes stuff that makes old code break it's the vendor's
fault? Hmmmm????
