Our natural gas generator switches on every Monday morning for a duration
of time.
Two things we have found. One, there's a little, like, 9v battery in
there. When that goes things do NOT work as well. Two, when it is very
bone chilling cold outside the generator can have issues. Frequent tests
help you learn these things.
Generac. They're a customer of ours. Just quintupled their orders with
us.

During one outage the weakest link turned out to be some relay between the
generator, power supply and the UPS. Bummer when you fork out that sort
of money and Murphy still figures out a way to burn you. I think I heard
someone else on the list have the same issue.

The generator is sized to run the whole building. A/C, lights and all.
Hey, hard to keep the machine running if the room warms up too much.
Fumbling around in the dark is not conducive to business either.
