I agree. It's what i always recommend and use internally. There is a
very important point in this configuration that i can't stress enough:

If you use this configuration, the load on either UPS in normal
operation MUST always be below 50% (ideally below 40%). If one of the
two UPS fails, the power demanded from the remaining  UPS will be
TWICE the normal load.

This is because a system with two powersupplies will use BOTH to
supply power, and will need full power from the remaining one. I've
seen more than one setup that didn't plan for this.
