When it was Premenos, they dealt very fairly with their customers, their prices were fair, and I thought it was the best EDI package for the midrange platform.

Oracle is also squeezing their midrange (JDE) customers for support...

I first started using Premenos in the early 90's. It was/is fast and reliable. The problem isn't the software and probably not Inovis either.

To cover the cost of software development and support, you need sales and a customer base. Unix and windows offer more potential for this.
