My load source just failed on me and I've been searching the archives for the possibility of replacing the disk through concurrent maintenance.
I've talked to different SEs and each have a different opinion on how I should recover my load source. Some say concurrent maintenance is possible and
I could replace and rebuild my load source, while others say it isn't and I should do a scratch-install.
So far the solution I came up with from the archives is to:
1. Install a non-configured disk
2. IPL to DST, Copy disk data unit to non-configured disk
3. Power down
4. Replace load source disk with non-configured disk
5. IPL
regards,
ian
