When you buy 6.1, you do not get DB2 Web Query, or the original
Query.

You have to order DB2 Web Query - it is a separate line item, and
comes at an additional cost. In order to get the original Query,
you purchase the minimum license ("few free licenses") for DB2 Web
Query. Then, you have both.

I was under the impression (quite possibly incorrect) that it was an 'either/or' situation. You could either use the old Query or the new
Web Query.

Because of that we did not even install the DB2 Web Query when we
upgraded to 6.1 last month.

We have the DVD and a license code... So if I could install it and
use it without breaking anything else, that would be really great.

Is anyone using both?

Consider the change with regard to Query/400 as an impact, only on ordering; i.e. nothing with regard to install nor use. The Query/400 product ID 57xxQU1 and library QQRYLIB is now obtained by ordering the IBM DB2 Web Query [for i5/OS], but the product is installed and used exactly the same as in the past; WRKQRY. Both products can be used concurrently. IIRC all installations of QU1 are *NOMAX user limit.
