By SFTP you're talking about FTP over SSH using the PASE implementation?

If so, then I'm going to guess that the commands you're talking are not implemennted.

The PASE server would be a port (direct or adapted) of the AIX code, which is totally unaware of the unique nature of the server.

The site commands you're referring to are handled by the iSeries FTP server.
