Scott,

If people do think that IBM simply changed the name, then we have little
hope for the platform.

When S/38 and S/36 came together to be AS/400, it was a monumental day. 20
years later, when System i and System p came together to be Power Systems,
it was a monumental day.

To have something that monumental labeled as "changing the name yet again"
means that the IBM marketing in that regard has failed. Or maybe, everyone
is stuck in their "AS/400" world and ignored what just happened in Spring
2008.

Sad.
