I suggest you start to plan for an upgrade now, as support for V5R3
expires in April 09.

The system is way behind on PTFs because we cant afford
the down time ( and lack of knowledge on how to minimize the time
needed in restricted state to apply the PTFs ).

So, what would you do if e.G. a system processor failed now?
