Just general info:
For an external server, it is good to use us.pool.ntp.org, or other
country specific servers from a "pool".

Also another nifty but relatively unknown feature:
If you don't use NTP, you can use iSeries Navigator to "slew" the clock to
the correct time, instead of just "thunking" it using the system values.
Say your AS/400 was 5 minutes ahead. You can slow down (or speed up if it
is behind) the clock gradually until the target time is met.
Go to "Configuration and Service", "Time Management", "Time Adjustment".
Not sure what level of the OS this was introduced at.

Windows, and UNIX systems can maintain the current date and time using
the NTP protocol. Can this be used on the i as well? I ask because the z
cannot do this.
