FWIW i hand-code DDL for new tables, etc. but use that command to convert
existing DDS built tables, indexes, etc. generating the DDL from scratch
is much easier than create DDS compile, run command, etc. the only things
i use DDS for anymore is DSPF and PRTF...but that's just me 8^)

I understand all that Nathan. But learning DDL instead of tools like
Tommy's will open yourself to stuff like constraints, identity columns and

whatnot. Wasn't arguing to be purist or pulling a "real database" action.
