Yes. That was my intent. I have a java method that simplifies the call initially and then I created several RPG api's that wrap the java so you can call the report engine in multiple ways, including emailing the completed report to (an) end user(s).

It's open source so you are free to take a look. I included a simple DB and examples reports that use the DB so you can run it right out of the box and then modify from there.

Is this wrapper intended to simplify calling the java methods from RPG? I've wanted to run jasperreports from RPG but haven't felt like taking the time to set up the calls (obviously it hasn't been a huge priority).
