When installing these via the HMC I always get a strong warning on
disruptive ones. And if one can't figure out from the warning that you'd
better drop those lpars then you really need to contract out your firmware
upgrades.

Yes, it would be nice if they went even longer on non disruptive firmware
upgrades though.

I just put on new firmware on my power 6 racks. Non disruptive but a
warning that some upgrades won't be effective until the next reboot of the
rack. Nice that it even told you what new hardware you won't have access
to until you do. Also included Active Memory Sharing.
