Hi Mary

This is a very good solution for some, and may be the one you should 
use. I just gave a demo of a product of ours, where they did not need it 
but were best served by using something similar to this suggestion, 
using data links in MS Access that made the data from the iSeries look 
completely native to MS Access.

If you have a situation where the iSeries originates data changes and 
you need to propagate them to MS Access, you might want to consider our 
RPG2SQL Integrator product, which gives you functions you call in ILE 
RPG for connecting to remote databases live, real-time, and working with 
that data, not with opcodes but with function calls.
