The "quick start guide" I'm looking at (sa41517104.pdf) refers to
"LAN implementation of Operations Console," and doesn't seem to say or imply anything about it needing to run on a dedicated PC.

Hmm. Am I looking at the wrong quick start guide then? I don't see anything comparable specific to an E4A, and most of what I do see looks about the same as the quick start guide.
