I donât get this - what exactly do you mean ? A file share is a file share - how would the number of 5250 users affect this ?

Not trying to be difficult just curious how this works.

Windows Server 2003 R2 include an NFS Server as part of the base OS component.

If you use NFS to gather data from Windows, ensure that you enough
CALs to cover all 5250 users.
