Our reporting team is using WEBFOCUS to connect to our iSeries. They are telling me that this job they are running worked about 1 month ago and now doesn't work. I looked at the id they are using and it is a service account. When I looked at the NULLID.SYSSN200 I noticed Public is set to *EXCLUDE, which I like, and only one group profile has access to the object. However the service account that is being used isn't a member of that group. I am assuming this could be causing the problem. But nothing has changed in the last 30 days with the security on the object or the profile and they are telling me it used to work. I am wondering if they did an upgrade to their software could it also cause this same issue? Any ideas are appreciated.
