Why bother with tape? Why not do a SAVSECDTA to a save file and ftp it to
the new box.

Subject: Restoring User Profiles On New System

This is not something I do regularly.... It's been many a year since we
got a new production system.

We'll be moving off our 720 (V5R3) to a new E4A (V5R4) in the next
couple of weeks. However, since the time that we setup the new box and
loaded it up, a large number of user profiles have been changed/added,
passwords changed, etc.

After the data refresh for the migration, I believe I'll need to restore
all user profiles from tape otherwise the passwords don't come along.
Also, a RSTAUT for private authorities. Any other considerations in
doing this?

Thanks.
