Rob,

do you use save while active?

We sometimes notice lengthen times, and clues us in
to something ELSE did not happen correctly.   Here
just before the backup starts off, we end qinter, and
start a subsystem with just a few devices, and those devices
only get simple inquiries,  but sometimes that would get stuck,
or some batch job had lots-o-files open for update while backup
is attempting to run.
