To get the host and domain name for the iSeries you can use the QtocRtvTCPA API.

Getting the "correct" IP address is more fun as the system can have multiple IP addresses assigned to it. Who knows which one is the right one. You can use the QtocLstNetIfc API to get a list of IP addresses configured on the system.

depending on how you have your DNS setup you might be able to take the host and domain info from the CLLE and ping that name to get the IP address.
