What is the benefit of a validity checking program over using the change
command exit point? I would think the validity checking program would be
more of a hassle because then you have to reattach it after every upgrade,

etc.

Up until now I never heard of the Change Command Exit Program so I never
considered that.

We will probably not do an OS upgrade before the last of my companies
AS/400's gets retired (only 2 left of the original nine). If we do I will
know to reattach it.

But it's always nice to learn something new!
