VCP support is there for developers to use when creating their own 
commands.  i've created many over the years and VCPs are great tools, but 
adding a VCP to an IBM supplied command IMO is *not* a good idea.

But isn't the point of a VCP is to allow us do do stuff like this?  If 
not,
why publicize it at all?
