I really don't do a lot in CL, and the only time my statements have any chance of becoming complex, I tend to break them out if possible (i.e. if a command has something like EXEC or THEN, I tend to make the command it executes DO).
So I guess my statements don't end up so complex that the IDE has issues processing a prompt.

While WDSC / RDi / RDp are very good tools, there are still things that PDM is much better at ... editing CL, for instance.
The GUI editors are slow as molasses when it comes to editing CL, but PDM is super fast.
