Just an FYI, Bill -

Per:

"if the HMC manages more than 254 partitions, the HMC should have 3GB of
RAM minimum" :-)

Subject: Re: Installing a 520 for the first time

Let's see:
First HMC:
POWER5 9406-570 & 9406-520

Second HMC:
POWER5 p590, 2 x POWER5 550's, and 2 x POWER5 520's

Third HMC:
POWER5+ p595, 1 x POWER5+ p570, 1 x POWER6+ 570, 3 x POWER5 550's, 6 x
POWER5 520's
and the brand new POWER770 that's in the rack (today) and not yet
powered
on, we're having power issues in the data center. Have to move a couple
of
circuits first.

Do I win, or do we not have enough servers under one HMC? Didn't count
the
LPAR's, but I'd say more than 50 but less than a hundred. Not even
counting the dozen POWER4's that are in the process of being replaced
this
year (FINALLY)!
