A little late for this year but I like playing with coworkers minds by adding *ROLLKEY

Bear in mind that this system value affects users whose profile has ASTLVL(*SYSVAL). I.e., you can specify the assistance level uniquely for each user, such as CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(JERRY) ASTLVL (*ADVANCED) -vs- CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(ROBERT) ASTLVL(*INTERMED). Another parameter on CHGUSRPRF that I like is the USROPT( ). I have mine set to *CLKWD *EXPERT.

You wouldn't happen to know the system value to change this to
*Intermediate would you?

WRKUSRPRF ASTLVL(*INTERMED) is what you're used to
WRKUSRPRF ASTLVL(*BASIC) is what you are seeing.
You didn't, by any chance, upgrade to V6 by restoring old pre V6 data on
a
new V6 box? Just wondering why it changed assistance levels.
See also F21 while you are using WRKUSRPRF.

We are testing a newly installed system with V6.1. When I ran the
command WRKUSRPRF and prompted a user and put a 2 on it to change, I got
an extremely limited version of the command. I could not add any
authorities or much else. The only way was to use the CHGUSRPRF
command. Is this some new security "enhancement" for V6.1?
