If it is a "true" system console, such as Lan Console or HMC, then ending
TCP/IP will not lock out your system console. Yes, I understand your
confusion. When I first started using Lan Console I could not comprehend
how something iSeries Access based could connect to a system in a
restricted state. I just had to keep the faith and it worked fine. HMC
works great also. Neither are affected by ENDTCP.
