Pete,

You might consider recommending that the custom pick up a 1U iSCSI
attached PC so that they can continue to sycn passwords in this
manner.  I don't think you'll find any password sync utilities for
less.

Personally, for a small site, I like having a Windows AD/DHCP/DNS
server hosted by the i, along with a secondary standalone server for
backup.  This way the DR for the site basically is recover the i and
you get your Windows domain back for free.
